Know Before You Go
- How to Dress: In the summer, the temperature in Kresna Gorge reaches over 40°C. Traventuria advice: Bring a sun hat, sun lotion, and sunglasses. Please bring: socks, underwear, and a synthetic T-shirt, shorts for the river. Those clothes get wet!
- Cash or Card: Kindly note that payment by credit/debit card is not possible. Bring Euro in cash with you.

Tour Plan
08:00 Departure from Vasil Levski Monument (Embassy of Slovakia) meeting point.
Meet us at Vasil Levski Monument, in front of the Embassy of Slovakia (LINK to the meeting point on Google Maps).
Please, arrive at the meeting point at least 10 min earlier. The bus departs at 08:00 am sharp and does NOT wait for any late passengers.
09:45 – Arrival at the Rafting Base
At the rafting center, you will be equipped with a wetsuit, boots, a helmet, and a vest. Then we will transport you to the starting point, where you will have a safety talk.
Please bring: socks, underwear, and a synthetic T-shirt, shorts for the river. Those clothes get wet!
10:00 – Start of the white waters rafting with instructor
The course is 12 + km long and is located in the heart of the Kresna Gorge, the river difficulty is class 2 to class 4.
13:30 – 15:00 Lunch Break
Free time for lunch. The rafting base has terraces above the river under the shade of the trees. Enjoying a snack and watching the passing rafting boats will make a proper end to the rafting adventure. You can also find delicious temptations like homemade Bulgarian yogurt, cheese, and jam.
15:00 – Begin Return Journey
17:00 Arrival at Vasil Levski Monument (Embassy of Slovakia) - back at the tour meeting point
After an approximate two hours driving, the tour is back at its starting point - Vasil Levski Monument, in front of the Embassy of Slovakia (LINK to the meeting point on Google Maps).
