Tour Plan
08:30 Departure from Vasil Levski Monument (Embassy of Slovakia) meeting point.
Meet us at Vasil Levski Monument, in front of the Embassy of Slovakia (LINK to the meeting point on Google Maps).
Please, arrive at the meeting point at least 10 min earlier. The bus departs at 08:00 am sharp and does NOT wait for any late passengers.
Travel 60 km north of Sofia via a picturesque drive through Svoge.
10:00 – Base Camp Arrival & Outfitting
Meet the team at the riverside camp directly opposite the famous Lakatnik rocks. Check into the private changing rooms and get fully geared up in clean, professional neoprene suits, booties, helmets, and life jackets.
Please bring: A swimsuit, a synthetic t-shirt, and a towel.
10:30 – Splashdown! The Rafting Descent (1.5 – 2 Hours)
Launch into the water for a thrilling 10+ km run from Bov to Lakatnik. Tackle energetic Class 3 rapids in the spring or enjoy a relaxing, scenic Class 2 float with swimming stops during the summer.
12:30 – 13:00 Return & Refresh (30 mins)
The final rapid brings you right back to the rafting base camp. Step out of the boat, hit the open-air summer showers, change back into dry clothes, and head out to explore the nearby cave paths or local riverside dining options.
15:00 – 16:30 Arrival at Vasil Levski Monument (Embassy of Slovakia) - back at the tour meeting poin
After an approximate 1.5 hours driving, the tour is back at its starting point - Vasil Levski Monument, in front of the Embassy of Slovakia (LINK to the meeting point on Google Maps).
