Tour Plan

07:00 AM – Departure from Sofia

Meet us at the Vasil Levski Monument in central Sofia. We'll head south towards the Greek border, with a short coffee and comfort stop along the way.

11:00 AM – Arrival at Lake Kerkini

Step aboard a traditional open boat for a gentle and safe cruise on the calm waters. Observe the pelicans and other water birds from a safe, respectful distance as they feed and rest in their natural habitat. 

12:30 PM – Scenic Dike Walk & Wildlife Spotting

Take a relaxed walk along the lake's dikes. Your expert guide will share fascinating stories about the local wildlife, the region's history, and the delicate balance of this ecosystem while you enjoy views of Mt. Belasitsa.

01:30 PM – Flexible Cultural & Culinary Afternoon

We will head to the picturesque, traditional villages nearby. To ensure the best experience depending on the weather and group preferences, we keep this part of the program flexible. We will enjoy free time for lunch and a cultural stop, which may include relaxing at a cozy Greek tavern, visiting a local buffalo farm, or exploring the serene Akritochori Monastery.
